Top 20 Sunsoft Games
Batman: Return of the Joker was developed and published by Sunsoft as the second in their Batman series on the Nintendo Entertainment System. It departed from the original game by focusing on the comic-book version of Batman instead of the movie-inspired conception. The story itself was self-contained, and did not depict a pre-existing storyline. The game is a side-scrolling platformer with beat 'em up features.

Batman is a platform game that was originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, and was ported to the Sega Genesis and Nintendo Gameboy. It was designed and published by Sunsoft, and was loosely based after the 1989 film of the same name. It was well-received, partly due to the hype of the movie, and partly due to the wall-jump ability, a unique addition to the game that was uncommon to NES games.
