Ultimately, time has not really been kind fo this once amazing and innovative step forward in gaming. Nostalgia for it seems to underplay how rudamentary the controls and setting are, along with the fact that the characters are probably the most chilched and barebones you could possibly ask for, though voice acted fairly well for the time. It had a lot going for it in terms of making a bold leap forward for open world games, but in retrospect so much of it was limited and has been done SOOOO much better in later iterations that this game ends up being a relic of a time long past. Also, the radio stations get super annoying and repetative after a short amount of time. Fun, but super dated at this point.
