World Championship Rugby is a computer and video game developed after the 2003 Rugby World Cup. It was developed by Swordfish Studios and published by Acclaim.

As well as all the teams and games from the 2003 Rugby World Cup, the game includes a number of other tournaments, such as Six Nations, Tri Nations, custom leagues and cups, classic matches and tour games. There is also a feature to beat the all- stars with every team in the game and a survival game. The only licensed teams in the game are England and Wales, however, included is a name editor that allows the fake player names to be changed.

Rugby 2005 is a game in the Rugby series by EA Sports. The game allows players to play as many Rugby nations, both major and minor, and includes many tournaments, such as the Rugby World Cup, the Tri Nations, the Six Nations, and the Super 12.

The newer version of this game is Rugby 06, also by EA Sports. It also includes a fictional "World League" where teams from the Guinness Premiership, Celtic League, Top 14, Super 12, and other domestic leagues compete against each other in a three-stage promotion and regulation structure with a knock out cup also contested. Commentary is provided by Ian Robertson and Murray Mexted.

Rugby 2005 is the first EA Rugby title for Xbox, while the Windows version was canceled in the US.

Reihou Academy Student Council proposed a friendly athletic meet-up to apologize for the wrongdoings done by student council president Yamada. However, Toudou Mamoru, the new student council president who has been entrusted with the arrangement of the athletic meet, has no intention of apologizing. Instead he is plotting to crush the other schools, and reinstates The Double Dragons despite them being expelled for their kidnapping of Mami.

Nobody hesitates to participate. Nekketsu High School, led by Kunio, Hanazono High School led by Riki and Interschool Union led by Gouda all announce their participation in the competition. Thus Toudou can begin his plot with the 4 teams in place.
