Good 90%

This looks really good and play good. You can choose adult characters (male or female) of kids (boy or girl) at easy or regular settings. So you can set it up as a easy game for kids or harder for adults.

Positive points
- Weather system (rain, snow)
- Time of day (day and Night)
- Parallax Scrolling (12+ layers)
Negative points
- Not very well known except for word of mouth

Great 100%

A great side scroller platformer game that gives off Super Mario and Sonic Vibes! It can be challenging at times but very fun to play. I've topped the game with more than 15 hours gameplay, and it the gameplay is rather fun!

Positive points
The game is unique and gives off sonic and mario vibes. Very nostaglic but something out of the box.
Negative points
The game is rather lengthy

Good 90%

A gem of a game. Indie games sometimes can surprise you like this one. I mostly play indie games because the bigger companies rehash the same 3D games over and over. This game is a based off of the old school Atari Pitfall type. The video shows what the game is like. It's a platformer where you fight off bad guys in the jungles while collecting things. I do like the inventory system setup. At first it's a bit odd but once I got used to it ... Read More

Positive points
- Looks cool
- Retro 80s - 90s feel
- Reaaaallllly long.
- Male/female and adult/child characters
Negative points
- Demo is only 1/2 of 1st level but still took a few hours to get that far.

Great 100%

I played the demo on Steam and liked it so I bought it. The first stage took me about 3 hours to finish (plus extra time setting up the game and reading the instructions). Every part of is fun. There are tons of traps everywhere to avoid and lots of stuff to collect. It's a little different that there is no high score. The goal is to finish the game. Refreshing.

Positive points
You get your money's worth.
Looks really nice.
I like the Indiana Jones theme.
Negative points
Would be cool to have multiplayer.

Great 100%

A neat little game. It's just like how others have mentioned. A above average side-scroller game.

A+ recommend

Positive points
easy and fun to play
Negative points
Gotta read instructions first but there is a quickstart area too.

Storyline

Play as either "Hot Spot" Harvey, his cousin Roxy Roks, Junior or Missy searching for the lost treasure of the infamous "Jaxton Max". Your quest for fortune and glory will not be easy however. This adventure is full of baddies aimed at stopping you dead in your tracks. Use knives to dig through walls, bullets to battle the baddies, grappling hooks to jump over long distances, oxygen tanks to breath under water and torches to see what lurks underground. Collect keys to get past locked doors and to open treasure chests. Avoid the quicksand, tar pits, spikes, fire pits, thumpers and other traps along the way. Few ever return from their expeditions into the deep jungles. So, if you are brave enough, the "Jungles of Maxtheria" awaits!
