Kingdom Under Fire II merges real-time strategy (RTS), role-playing game (RPG) and massively multiplayer online game (MMO) genres - the game is to have a single player, and online multiplayer mode. The game follows on chronologically from Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom, and is the first RTS game set in the Kingdom Under Fire universe to be released since the 2005 Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes.
The game was announced in January 2008, and has been subject to delay and changes to release platforms; A closed beta-test began in December 2011 in South Korea.
In November 2013, the developers announced that a version for the PlayStation 4 was in development.
This is a Spacial Estrategy game, a mix between Master of Orion and Imperium Galactica. You can be one of many races, each with advantages and disadvantages. The whole game is very customizable, from allowing you to customize galaxy size to designing your own ships.
Glory of the Roman Empire is the first of three games on the subject (CivCity: Rome, Caesar IV) that came out in 2006. The game has full 3D structures, units and environment. It has dozens of historically inspired structures and environments rendered in full detail in a 3D world. Buildings can be placed easily in every direction.
Stronghold: Crusader is the successor to Firefly Studios's 2001 game Stronghold. Crusader has much in common with the original Stronghold, but differs from its predecessor in the fact that the game is no longer set in a pseudo-Europe, instead being set in the Middle East during the Crusades. The game features a multitude of new Arabian units that can be purchased in a new building, the mercenary post. Though the Arabian troops do not require any weapons to produce, they are rather expensive. The game was also released as Stronghold Warchest. This version was a compendium of Stronghold and an enhanced version of Stronghold: Crusader, containing additional characters and an additional Crusader Trail.
Stronghold Warchest was only released in limited number of countries (i. e. USA or Poland), meaning players in the rest of the world have never encountered the second Crusader Trail, or second set of characters. This changed when an updated version of Stronghold Crusader, Stronghold: Crusader Extreme was released in early 2008.
