Age Rating for Monster Hunter Rise

ESRB TESRB rating T
This is an action adventure game in which players assume the role of a hunter who must save a village from a monster invasion. Players traverse a fantasy world and hunt down and kill various dragons, wyverns, and giant spiders. Players use swords, hammers, bows, and axes to kill creatures in frenetic melee-style combat. Spurts of blood are often depicted when players and creatures are injured during combat. A handful of missions allow players to operate mounted turrets and cannons to shoot rampaging creatures. The game contains several references to alcohol in the dialogue (e.g., “Enjoy the occasional drink and you'll never need a docto—*hic*”; “I had a couple of sips of alcohol…”; “Drinking alone ain't the worst thing, but booze tastes better with company”; “Pops tells the story whenever he gets boozed up.”).
PEGI 12PEGI rating 12
This game contains frequent depictions of realistic looking violence towards fantasy characters. When creatures are struck, blood appears and they let out grunts of pain. In some cases, parts of their bodies, such as tails, can be removed, although there are no gore effects. When a significant amount of damage has been inflicted, the creatures begin to limp. When defeated, they fall to the floor where their body remains. The game also contains frequent depictions of non-realistic looking violence towards human-like and animal-like characters. Characters can be thrown large distances, both into the air and into objects such as rocks and trees. Human characters grunt in pain when they are attacked and some mild blood effects are shown, although there is no sight of injuries. Human characters tend to recover their balance before continuing the battle.
