Great 100%

Amazing attention to detail, I can easily say this is Game of the Year, every year.

Good 90%

Gigantic game with more polish that I've ever seen even in a short title. The story and characters are phenominal. Almost unparalleled in gaming. The immersive gameplay sucked me in like few games ever do. Small things like tending to my horse and equipment, shaving and fishing (which normally frustrate me) made me feel connected to the main character and the game world and I would even go out of my way to do these things because so much care and... Positive points

Alright 80%

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game about choices and consequences played in a world in which your action have little consequences. If you kill people, you just pay your bounty and everyone forgets about it. Same goes for robbing people or carriages. The story is great, but drags on for too long. Your horse will also run into literally every rock or tree, which is really annoying. I'm sure no real horse will run into a tree even if you try to steer i... Read More

Positive points
- Great story (minus the last chapters)
- Amazing graphics
- Quite interactive open world
Negative points
- Actions don't have consequences
- Horses like running into rocks and trees
- Too much simulation

Great 100%

We all knew Rockstar would deliver, but at least in my case, this was beyond expectations. One of those games you need to play, even if you only go for the story missions. The immersion in the wild west is perfect. You will love some of its main characters. Everything was made with love, caution and detail so you can enjoy being a good (or an evil) gunslinger. We can only hope for a third RDR soon...

Positive points
Story, characters, mechanics, graphics.
Negative points
Might overwhelm at some points due to its great amount of details.

Storyline

America, 1899. The end of the wild west era has begun as lawmen hunt down the last remaining outlaw gangs. Those who will not surrender or succumb are killed.

After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him.
