Tactics V: "Obsidian Brigade" is a retro-style tactical turn-based video game in homage to console tactical RPGs from the 1990s. Its set in an in-house fantasy setting with it's own lore and magic, It also uses techniques to convert to a 2D isometric look from 3D assets.
Become a real medieval feudal lord: start with a small village and build it up into a great impenetrable castle. You will have to repel enemy raids: hide behind thick walls, lure your enemies into strategically placed traps and even lead your loyal peasants into the battlefield.
You start the game with a couple of peasants and limited resources to eventually turn your small settlement into a real medieval castle. Build, mine resources, grow crops, manufacture equipment, trade, and advance science on your own or by delegating tasks to your people. Greedy bandits will regularly raid your settlement, making you gather militia troops and repel the enemy.

Each peasant can have one of nine available professions. Once assigned, they will start executing corresponding tasks and orders — you don’t need to keep track of each individual resident. However, if you think that a regular peasant with three grades of education is not good at tactics, you can directly command groups of units or individual ones in combat

Start by processing stone and lumber, then advance your technologies to open new ways of growing your settlement: manufacturing, trade, lighting, comfort, equipment, defense. Your character and peasants will also be able to advance and improve their skills while doing useful work.
In order to make a village attractive to new settlers, you need to take care of its residents’ comfort. Peasants need cozy houses and good food. However, for particularly lazy peasants in addition to carrot there is a whip.
Bandits will regularly raid your settlement. You can lead the militia or stay out of combat by letting your people defend themselves. To reduce casualties, you can hide behind powerful walls or lure the enemy into meticulously placed traps.
Collection and hunting solve the hunger problem at early stages only. In a highly developed settlement, you need to start growing various crops and farming animals.
The village will be regularly visited by merchants. They will offer their goods and buy your produce. With time, you will be able to send trade caravans to other locations.

In the beginning, Aion benevolently watched over his world Atreia. He created the humans, and the Balaur to safeguard and watch over them. Eventually, the Balaur became obsessed with power and subjugation. Five of the Balaur rose to a height of strength above the rest, and became known as the five Dragon Lords. When Aion refused to grant them the power they desired, the power to rival his own, they revolted and declared war on the god that created them. Aion's hand was forced, and he created the twelve Empyrean Lords, beings of divinity and power to protect the Tower of Eternity.
Some humans "ascended" to become Daeva and, like the Empyrean Lords, had wings and the ability to fight the Balaur. With time, enough Daevas rose to form an army. The Empyrean Lords would lead the Daeva into battle and fight ceaselessly. Eventually an attempt at peace with the Balaur was made. The five Drakan Lords were invited inside the barrier for peace talks, but before the peace-talks could begin, one of the Drakan Lords was nearly assassinated by an unknown assailant. In the fighting that followed, the Tower of Eternity was destroyed, resulting in the cataclysm that broke Atreia in half. Five Empyrean Lords, most of whom opposed the peace treaty, came to power in the dark part of the world, "Asmodae," and became known as the Shedim Lords. Another five who had mostly desired peace became the Seraphim Lords and ruled over the lower half of Atreia, "Elysea." Two of the Empyrean Lords sacrificed themselves to keep Atreia from crumbling entirely.
Those that lived in the light part of the world, the Elyos, saw little change. These followers of the Seraphim Lords created the city of Sanctum. The inhabitants of the upper part, the Asmodians, saw many changes. Their hands became claw-like, their feet became talons. The darkness made their complexion cool, and their eyes grew red adapting to the absence of light. They live in the city of Pandaemonium under the rule of the Shedim Lords.
