Age Rating for The Evil Within 2

This is a survival horror game in which players assume the role of a former detective searching for clues about his daughter. From a third-person perspective, players explore a simulated world while battling zombies, ghouls, demons, and human enemies. Players use crossbows, explosives, blades, and guns to defeat enemies. Combat is highlighted by realistic gunfire, screams of pain, and large blood-splatter effects. Some scenes depict severed limbs and/or demons composed of human body parts (including exposed buttocks); one enemy can cut characters in half with a giant saw blade. During the course of the game, players encounter a monster whose breast is exposed. The words “f**k” and “sh*t” appear in the dialogue.

Strong Language, Partial Nudity, Intense Violence, and Blood and Gore

Strong violence includes the decapitation and dismemberment of various characters throughout the game using anything from shotguns to circular saws. Blood, gore and graphic injuries are shown. Strong language includes the word ‘fuck’ and its derivatives.
